01/05/2010 - Columbus, OH (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Ohio State defensive lineman Thaddeus Gibson announced on Tuesday he will forgo his senior season and enter the 2010 NFL draft.
As a junior, the All-Big Ten selection recorded 13 tackles for loss to go with four sacks, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and an interception for the Buckeyes, who ended the season with a Rose Bowl win over Oregon.
"I wish the team the very best in the upcoming years and I thank all my teammates for all their support. I will keep in touch with my Buckeye family and I love them all. I will always bleed Scarlet and Gray," Gibson said in a released statement.
In his three years at the school, the 6-foot-2, 240-pound Gibson logged 82 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.
He is scheduled to graduate in June.
